In this role, you will be working closely with our Creative Director and Product Director on ideation, concept creation, development and refining products ready for production.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Designing new products from concept and inspiration boards to final pieces
  • Responsible for all CAD aspects to get new products ready for production
  • Research and development of new mechanisms, clasps, connections and settings
  • Responsible for managing and meeting timelines in line with company design calendar 
  • Documentation of all relevant design standards and rules to ensure consistent quality of all S&S product. 
  • Enter and track all design materials ordered and used by CAD designers 
  • Responsible for creating style files for production, 
  • Ensuring safe backups of files to ensure company IP and assets are protected
  • Work alongside our Creative Director and Product Director to create collections and product categories.  
  • Rectifying quality control issues and improving products using CAD tools.

  • Have minimum of 5 years experience as a Jewellery CAD Design with in the jewellery industry.

We are seeking a Senior Designer who is a true design genius, someone for whom creating is at the heart of everything they do. 

This role will see you leading the creative development for Sarah & Sebastian, constructing and shaping concepts for multiple collections throughout the year. You’ll be responsible for pushing the boundaries of design while maintaining the brand’s signature aesthetic, ensuring each collection resonates with our discerning clientele. You will also oversee the evolution of ideas, from initial sketches to final pieces, and drive innovation across the design process.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Research & Trend Forecasting: Stay at the forefront of global jewellery trends, lifestyle movements, and fashion forecasts. Use insights to inform design direction and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Mood Board Creation: Develop mood boards to visually communicate design concepts, aesthetics, and themes for new collections.
  • Design & Concept Development: Lead the creation of new jewellery collections, from ideation to final product, ensuring each piece reflects the brand’s identity and resonates with the target audience.
  • Sourcing & Materials: Work closely with the procurement team to source high-quality materials, ensuring sustainability and ethical practices in sourcing and production.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work alongside the Creative Director, CAD designers, jewellers and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product development and brand vision.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in design, ideally within a senior or lead role within jewellery or object design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative design work and technical expertise in design.
  • A love and passion for the ocean in line with our brand ethos
  • Expertise in trend research, mood board creation, and concept development.
  • Experience in sourcing and collaborating with materials suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Sarah & Sebastian are excited to introduce a newly created Merchandise Planner to our growing merchandise team based in our Studio in Alexandria.

Reporting to the Senior Merchandise Planner, you will be responsible for managing the forecasting and inventory of our core product lines. You will ensure optimal stock levels, align with sales projections, and maintain budgetary constraints, all while driving profitability and supporting business growth.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and maintain accurate forward demand forecasts for evergreen collections at the SKU variant level.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and raw materials teams to align demand planning with in-house production capabilities.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure 100% in-stock availability for Icon lines across all locations.
  • Optimize stock turn and minimize excess inventory while meeting business demand requirements.
  • Work with supply chain, merchandising, and finance teams to manage spend within approved open-to-buy limits.
  • Manage in-season trade optimization, ensuring inventory aligns with current demand in collaboration with the Supply Chain team.
  • Utilize ERP systems to monitor stock movements, forecasts, and demand planning.
  • Use business tools to manage forecasting at the Options Plan, WSSI, and MSSI levels.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and business insights to make informed commercial decisions.
  • Develop and present reports on inventory performance, demand trends, and key KPIs to stakeholders.
  • Monitor commodity pricing (e.g., gold) and its impact on GP, providing recommendations on price changes to meet financial GP KPIs.
  • Provide post-season reporting analytics and recommendations.
  • Produce weekly trade reporting for Icon categories.



ABOUT YOU

  • 2-3 years of demand planning experience in retail, preferably in fashion, jewellery or beauty.
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, or Merchandise Planning.
  • Strong business acumen with data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

In this critical role, you'll ensure that all piercing processes, compliance standards, and client services are upheld at the highest level, helping to drive the success of our business while providing a world-class experience for our clients. WHAT YOU WILL DO
