Perth Flagship Store: Sarah & Sebastian’s Western Australia Debut

Marking our Western Australia debut, SARAH & SEBASTIAN opens its newest flagship store on King Street in Perth’s West End. Emerging within a heritage-listed building in the city’s prestigious retail precinct, the experience-led retail space plays host to our full suite of luxury services, underpinned by architectural elements that invite you to immerse and explore our new location.

Embracing opposing forces, the store is at once robust and delicate, elemental and adorned, solid and fluid. Stainless steel plinths and aluminium panelling punctuate the space, juxtaposed by lime-washed exposed brickwork. Spanning the length of the store, custom-designed lighting casts a soft, diffused light throughout the room. 

Echoing ethereal seaweed found along Australia’s coast, muted green hues and fluid curves permeate the space. Upon entry, in-built seating is rendered in a textural moss green; a cove of comfort where visitors can sit and try on fine jewellery pieces. Stretching along one wall, an undulating display cabinet, embedded with locally-sourced sandstone, mimics golden kelp swaying in the ocean current.

Directly opposite, our gallery-style Fine Jewellery Library offers a luxurious suite for guests to peruse a curated edit of pieces, against a backdrop of hand-painted walls, soft carpeting and olive green brushed leather seating. The space transforms into a private suite hosting intimate Fine Jewellery appointments to explore bespoke options and the collections in detail, as well as Engagement and Wedding Consultations with our diamond specialists.

Towards the rear of the store, our Piercing Lab evokes a sense of calm; the space awash with a soft tonal green. Dedicated to anatomy-specific piercing and Ear Alchemy Styling, here, appointments are conducted by our team of expert piercers, under the glow of oculus lighting inspired by the illuminating artworks of James Turrell.
