All online orders are shipped in our timeless white boxes and securely packaged in green interior cardboard shipping boxes. For added luxury, our engagement rings are encased in a polished cast aluminium shell.

If you have chosen the gift wrap option at check-out, your items will be packaged in our classic white boxes, finished with our signature green gift wrap and a single-loop bow.

Our boxes, gift wraps, ribbons, envelopes, cards and in-store carrier bags are fully recyclable and crafted from sustainable FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council) paper, sourced from responsibly managed forests.

We offer complimentary gift wrapping and custom gift messages with every order. At checkout, simply toggle on the gift wrap option for your chosen item and include your personalised message.

Many of our products are in stock and ready to dispatch once ordered. Choose from express, same-day and click and collect delivery options at checkout depending on your location. Please note that conditions apply—refer to our shipping T&Cs for further details.

Some of our pieces are made-to-order in our Sydney studio and require extra time for production. For personalised items, including our Petite Charm and Charm designs, please allow three business days for production. For all other made-to-order items, production times vary. You can find estimated shipping dates on individual product pages or contact our Customer Care team for more information.

Your order can be cancelled or refunded up to one hour after purchase.

Unfortunately we're unable to amend your order, such as changing size or adding products, after this time. If your order hasn’t been dispatched, we're still able to amend any personal details, such as your shipping address.

You can pay with VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Shopify Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and AfterPay. Please note that Klarna and Afterpay is only available for Australian customers and will be processed in AUD.

If you're shopping from New Zealand, United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Eurozone, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore, you can checkout in your local currency. For all other regions, your order will be processed in AUD.

You will be charged in the currency you have selected. However, please note if you're shipping within or to Australia, you will automatically be charged in AUD.

SARAH & SEBASTIAN is not responsible for international transaction fees that might be charged by your bank.

In most cases, a declined payment is due to insufficient funds, an expired card or security limitations set by your payment provider.

We recommend contacting your payment provider or bank for further assistance. If you continue to experience issues, please contact our Customer Care team.

We're unable to facilitate transactions over the phone due to security reasons.

We can offer a secure method of payment via email through our payment portal if you wish to reserve a piece for collection at one of our retail stores. Please contact your chosen location if you require further assistance.

We offer gift cards in set amounts that can be used to shop online and in-store. Gift cards are valid for three years from the date of purchase. 

Our gift cards are issued in AUD—they can be used in any currency for redemption.

Please note, SARAH & SEBASTIAN gift cards cannot be used to pay service deposits. This includes but is not limited to Soldered and Ear Alchemy luxury piercing. Gift cards can be used to process the payment balance at the time of your appointment in-store.

You can purchase new butterfly earring backs online and in-store. 

To purchase internally threaded cartilage posts, please contact our Customer Care team. These items cost $120 each.

We regularly restock our iconic pieces. Add sold-our items to your wishlist so that we can notify you once they're available again. You can also contact our Customer Care team to enquire about specific pieces.

Please note that some styles are archived seasonally in order to welcome new collections. Archived items will not return and are no longer available for purchase.

SHIPPING

We offer express shipping with Australia Post for all Australian orders, and DHL for international orders.

For clients in Sydney metro within 40km radius of our Alexandria dispatch location, we offer same-day and 3-hour delivery options at a cost, in partnership with Rendr.

How do I know if my order is eligible for same-day delivery?
We only offer same-day delivery for Sydney Metro clients within a 40km radius of our Alexandria dispatch location.

How much does same-day delivery cost?
The cost for same-day delivery starts at AUD$20. Your total, including your delivery fee, is calculated at checkout based on distance.

What is the cut-off time for same-day delivery?
Place your order by 11am AEST to enjoy same-day delivery. Orders placed after 11am will be delivered on the following business day.

What if I need same-day delivery but no one is home to receive the package?
A signature is required upon delivery for same-day delivery items. We cannot dispatch orders to PO Boxes or with an ‘Authority to Leave’. In the case of a missed delivery, the client will bear the cost of redelivery.

Which products are available with same-day delivery?
Not all products are available with same-day delivery or 3-hour delivery. Only products from our Ready To Ship offering are available for these express services. Due to the fast nature and turnaround time of our ready-to-ship service, orders cannot be cancelled or changed.

What if my order contains a Made-to-Order piece? Orders containing any made-to-order products are not eligible for same-day delivery. To find out if a piece is made-to-order, estimated dispatch dates can be found on each individual product page.

We only offer same-day delivery and 3-hour delivery for Sydney Metro clients within a 40km radius of our Alexandria dispatch location.

The cost for 3-hour delivery starts at AU$25. Your total, including your delivery fee, is calculated at checkout based on distance.

What is the cut-off time for 3-hour delivery?
Place your order by 2pm AEST to enjoy 3-hour delivery. Orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched on the following business day from 9am onwards.

What if I need 3-hour delivery but no one is home to receive the package?
A signature is required upon delivery for 3-hour delivery items. We cannot dispatch orders to PO Boxes or with an ‘Authority to Leave’. In the case of a missed delivery, the client will bear the cost of redelivery.

Which products are available with 3-hour delivery?

Unfortunately not as the SARAH & SEBASTIAN workshop is a closed location.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation outlining your order details, delivery details and your consignment reference which you can use to track your order.

For orders that are dispatched with AusPost Express Shipping, we ship to PO boxes.

For same-day or 3-hour delivery, we cannot dispatch orders to PO Boxes or with an ‘Authority to Leave’, and a signature is required upon delivery. In the case of a missed delivery, the client will bear the cost of redelivery.

Customs duty and tax are not included in our product prices, however are calculated and payable at checkout.

Yes, due to the high value of our orders, our delivery services require signature upon delivery.

For Australia Post Express shipments, your order will be taken to your local Australia Post outlet and may be collected with photographic identification.

Orders using our same-day and 3-hour delivery services cannot be left unattended on the premises and require you to be home to receive and sign for your order. If you’re not home, your order will be returned to SARAH & SEBASTIAN and you will be charged for re-delivery. 

For DHL, your order will be taken to the local depot. If this occurs, you may arrange another delivery attempt or contact DHL directly for other options.

In most cases, the parcel has been delivered and signed for by another person.

The majority of our pieces are handcrafted to order in our Sydney workshop. We also work with a small network of Responsible Jewellery Council accredited international manufacturers.

We work with 10k and 18k gold, sterling silver and vermeil, sourced from Responsible Jewellery Council accredited suppliers.

Our diamonds are sourced from Responsible Jewellery Council accredited suppliers. Our engagement ring white diamonds also come with GIA certification.

RETURNS

Products purchased from our online or retail stores may be returned for a credit in Australia if returned unworn, in saleable condition within 14 days of dispatch date. Some exclusions may apply including bespoke. We do not issue refunds for change of mind or incorrect purchase.

REPAIRS & REFURBISHMENT

We value the connection between our jewellery and its wearer and are proud of our enduring designs and innovative craftsmanship.

That’s why we provide a 24 month warranty from the date of purchase, covering every piece if any damage occurs. 

Beyond that period, our commitment continues with a lifetime repair service for a small fee,  ensuring you can enjoy your jewellery for years to come. If repairs aren't possible, we also provide a recycling service, reflecting our dedication to sustainability. 

Our warranty does not cover lost items, inappropriate use or storage of your product and any repairs or modifications made by third parties. 

  • SARAH & SEBASTIAN will cover all costs associated with a valid warranty claim.
  • The benefits provided by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under the law. Learn more below.

We operate a repair service at our Sydney workshop and in most cases can repair jewellery to its original condition.

You may lodge your repair through our Return & Repair Portal and you will need the original order number and email address used for the order. If not covered under warranty, an estimated cost for repair will be provided and confirmed upon physical assessment.

We operate a refurbishment service at our Sydney workshop and in most cases can restore jewellery to its original condition.

You may lodge your refurbishment through our Return & Repair Portal and you will need the original order number and email address used for the order.

SIZING & BESPOKE

We recommend visiting our size guides here for information on how to confirm your ring size, cartilage backing or necklace length.

As ring sizes are not universal, please be advised that there may be slight variances between our sizes and those by other brands. We recommend opting for a standard size which can be exchanged and advise against ordering bespoke sizes without certainty.

Our signature fine chain necklaces and bracelets can be made in the below bespoke lengths;

ULTRASONIC JEWELLERY CLEANER

The Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner is an efficient, easy and safe way to clean and care for your jewellery at home. With general wear, the lustre of your jewellery tends to dull over time. The Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner is designed to remove topical debris such as dust, dirt, oil, grease and fingerprints. It works by producing high-frequency waves of up to 45000Hz, which creates micro bubbles that gently remove impurities on the surface and in the crevasses of your jewellery.

While the ultrasonic will clean your jewellery, it is not designed to remove tarnish or repair general signs of wear such as scratches.

  1. Insert the power plug into a socket and insert the AC adaptor into the Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner.
  2. Open the cover and carefully place the jewellery inside the chamber.
  3. Gently fill the chamber with lukewarm water (from a cup, not directly from the tap) up to the limit standard line (labelled MAX). *If deep cleaning is required, add a small amount of mild, unscented soap. Avoid any harsh chemicals such as dishwashing liquid, chlorine, bleach, or other household cleaners.
  4. Press the power switch to start. The Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner will begin and will automatically shut down after 3 minutes. *The indicator light will appear blue when it is cleaning and red when it is off.
  5. Once the cleaning cycle has finished, remove the jewellery and gently pat dry with a soft cloth or tissue. We recommend gently buffing each jewellery piece with a SARAH & SEBASTIAN polishing cloth to finish. Start with the treated inner polishing cloth to remove tarnish and discolouration, and finish with the outer cloth to polish and preserve the brilliance of your SARAH & SEBASTIAN fine jewellery.
  6. Make sure to drain the cleaning water after each use, and pat dry with a soft cloth before packing the Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner away. If detergent is used, ensure the chamber has been properly rinsed before drying, and no residue is left.

The Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner comes with a removable cover for the main chamber, an Australian Power Plug, an AC Adaptor that plugs into a DC12V round hole charging port and a detailed User Manual.

The Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner can simply be used with clean lukewarm or room-temperature water. Pour the water into the chamber using a cup and fill the it up to the limit standard line (labelled MAX).

If deep cleaning is required, add a pea-sized amount of mild, unscented soap. Avoid any harsh chemicals such as dishwashing liquid, washing detergent, chlorine, bleach, or other household cleaners.

SAFE
The Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner can be used to clean jewellery made from gold, silver, platinum, gold-plated, gold-filled or vermeil, including rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and anklets. Jewellery with sapphire gemstones and natural or lab-grown diamonds are also suitable for use with the Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner.

NOT SAFE
Any jewellery with gemstones that rank 8 or below on the MOHs Hardness Scale should NOT be used with the Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner, as they are at a high risk of damage with this device. This includes topaz, pearls, opals, turquoise and emeralds.

Additionally, gemstones that have been coated with oil, wax or plastic, or those that have been heat-treated, are not compatible with this device.

Yes. Depending on the size and shape of your jewellery, you can add multiple pieces to the Ultrasonic chamber. Ensure the chamber is not overfilled and your jewellery is not stacked for optimal cleaning and to avoid tangling.
